We fund projects in areas of the world which are severely affected by HIV and AIDS, particularly rural areas of Southern Africa and India, as well as providing comprehensive and eloquent information abotu HIV, AIDS and other sexual health issues to thousands of peopel every day through our website www.avert.org.

Our projects have different focuses based on teh needs of the area in question. Several of our projects focus on providing care for children orphaned by AIDS in the form of food security, encouragement to stay in school, and the facilitation of care. We also fund carers to come to rural homesteads to care for HIV positive people and their families, and many other aspects of community responses to HIV and AIDS.

We provide information to thousands of people per day through our website www.avert.org, which is now the most regularly accessed HIV and AIDS website in the world.

We have over 200 pages of information about all sorts of aspects of HIV, AIDS and sexual health, for researchers, young people, teachers, scared people, and people who wish to find out about protecting themselves against HIV and AIDS. Having information is key to protecting yourself against HIV, so the website is an important part of our work.
