2. Protéger et conserver la biodiversité et l'environnement de ces gibbons par la création de réserves naturelles afin de lutter contre le braconnage et la déforestation liée principalement à la reconversion massive de la forêt tropicale d'Indonésie en plantations de palmiers à huile.

4. Une radio "Kalaweit FM" a été crée pour sensibiliser les populations locales sur les problèmes écologiques et la conservation des animaux sauvages. Près de 60% des animaux reçus à Kalaweit ont été amenés grâce aux auditeurs.
