1. What's VeoSearch for?The whole Web, with solidarity on top! VeoSearch is a portal which gives you access to all the classic Internet functions (Search, shopping and very soon even more) while at the same time raising funds for your favourite charities. All of this without you giving out a
single cent!
2. How does it work?Each time you search or you shop, you generate ads revenues. We commit to give 50% of these revenues to your favourite charities ! To select the charities you will raise money for, you just need to sign up (at the top of each page) and to add to your selection
the ones you want to support. If you don't sign up or if you are not signed in (check that your nickname is at the top of each page), the revenues you generated will be given to the 100 most
supported charities.
3. What is the impact on charities?With 50.000 € donated in en 2008, VeoSearch is the number 1 Internet site in France! The charity Care International for example has
provided support for food production, infrastructure rehabilitation, savings and credit, income generation, and emergency assistance such as shelter, access to water and sanitation facilities in Sri
Lanka to help the people affected by the conflict there. Furthermore, VeoSearch allows the charities to appeal to a new audience, with 220,000 visitors every month!!

articles, videos, photos, comments, details of funds raised...All the latest news pops up in live feed at the top of each page. You can also sign up to receive the RSS feeds concerning your charities. Finally, VeoSearch also has the pleasure to introduce you to its latest mascot which will follow you while you
search and shop to answer any and all questions you might have!
6. How do I use the Shopping portal?All you need to is click on the Shopping link at the top of the page. Our Shopping portal is very vast, giving you access to over 4 million offers which are graded by
visitors, with rankings of favourite products and categories. You can also give your opinion by posting a comment. Just by comparing the prices of products you might be interested in buying you raise
funds, 50% of which will be donated to your charities!
7. How do I use the new Charity portal?The Charity portal allows you to choose the charities you wish to support through your searches and your shopping and to follow the
fund raising on a daily basis. You can also stay informed of breaking news regarding your favourite charities or a particular cause: human
rights, biodiversity, fighting corruption…. For this, you will find at the
top of the Charity portal page the latest news regarding fund raising, events, posted articles, photos or videos. You can also sign up to receive the latest RSS posts of your favourite charities!
8. I'd like to spread the word about VeoSearch, how can I do this?Thank you for your support! We have created a special link spread in your VeoSearch account to give you easy
and free tools to spread the word among your friends, acquaintances and colleagues!
9. What do you do with my personal data?We are committed to keeping the information you disclose when you sign up confidential, not to disclose it to anybody and not to sell it to
anyone without your prior authorization.By accessing your Profile at any time, you can alter or delete any and all your information.
10. Transparency ?We guarantee total transparency during the fund-raising process: VeoSearch's guarantees : -You can follow fund raising on a daily basis from the homepage to the charities' webpages -VeoSearch's accounts are audited each year by a statutory auditor. Charities' guarantees: -All the charities that are profiled on VeoSearch use their webpage to communicate transparently on their actions (texts, videos, photos, annual reports...) -Visitors can ask charities questions directly by posting comments that will be seen by everyone -Before donating money to a charity for the first time, we perform a background check with the judicial and fiscal authorities |
