CONTESA helps alleviate the suffering of orphans and disadvantaged children in Zambia through the provision of basic shelter, food primary education and training regradless of their background,
religion or race.
CONTESA Feeding Programmes
CONTESA concentrates it's initial support on feeding programmes to ensure that orphans receive at least one basic meal a day. We currently support 3 such programmes at Chainda Shanty Compound
Lusaka, Chawama Clinic, Lusaka and Kabwe Church Family Mission (KCFM), Kabwe. We have funded the construction of ablution (toilet and showers) blocks at KCFM and Chainda and a kitchen dining block
at KCFM. We have also facilitated the provision of a borehole at Chainda to provide water for the feeding programme and to the ablution block.
