CONTESA Feeding Programmes CONTESA concentrates it's initial support on feeding programmes to ensure that orphans receive at least one basic meal a day. We currently support 3 such programmes at Chainda Shanty Compound Lusaka, Chawama Clinic, Lusaka and Kabwe Church Family Mission (KCFM), Kabwe. We have funded the construction of ablution (toilet and showers) blocks at KCFM and Chainda and a kitchen dining block at KCFM. We have also facilitated the provision of a borehole at Chainda to provide water for the feeding programme and to the ablution block. CONTESA Educational and Outreach Programmes
We are currently funding the construction of a school block at Muchule School, Chatama Village, Chipata in the Eastern Province. CONTESA also funds teachers salaries at KCFM nd has a bursary fund
for secodary school students at Messiah Ministries, Chilanga, Lusaka. We are also planning to fund the construction of a school classroom at Chainda in conjunction with another funding agency (who
